Chelsey and Chris got married on 5th October 2019 at The Lingholm Estate in the beautiful Lake District.
"Chris and I first met at Blackpool Sixth Form when we were seventeen. We were in the same friends group and even went on my first holiday abroad at eighteen with him and 14 other friends. We didn't actually get together till we were twenty-one, I had left university and Chris was still studying Medicine."
"We got engaged on Friday 29th September 2017. We were camping in the Lakes over the weekend and our first activity was kayaking on Derwent water. We kayaked to one of the islands in the Lake (St Herbert's Island), had a little walk around the island and stopped facing Catbells. I accused Chris of acting weird and joked saying it was as if he was going to propose!! He then pulled out the most beautiful ring."
"At first I kept loudly saying 'no!' and cried in joy but then obviously said YES! The kayak back didn't go as smoothly as the wind had changed and I really struggled. I nearly crashed in the jetty of what became our wedding venue."
Chelsey and Chris chose our Classic 'Forever Yours' biodegradable rose petal confetti. The mix of deep red rose confetti and ivory rose confetti were a perfect match for their rich, deep maroon and ivory colour scheme. The colours matched perfectly to her beautiful bouquet. "A week later we went to The Lingholm Estate and booked our wedding for 2 years time. As a girl who has always dreamed of getting married and having an extensive Pinterest board, I started planning right away and everything clicked into place quickly and without too much stress. I hand made quite a few things to keep things personal and extra special."

"Our day was just perfect - everything went to plan. The staff at Lingholm were just amazing. Literally all my dreams came true and looking back, I wouldn't change anything. From having the most relaxed morning getting ready with my closest friends and family, wearing my dream dress, having the most handsome and loving husband, surprising our guests with Alpacas and dancing the night away with our nearest and dearest."

"The weather stayed fine for all the important bits including the confetti throw. We picked Adamapple because I loved the colours and really wanted dried flowers, helped with the style of the wedding. Also they were local to us which was an added bonus."
